Six Years After- Let Us Not Forget

We know less and question more. We also find out more. We doubt more. For the past few days, I saw the posters of shows about theories of 9/11, how wars were engineered and how religious conflicts began. There are no good or bad set of answers or even to say an immediate solution will be a long while to come. Without patience and understanding of our past and willing to understand the history, we will continue as historians say in various ways in writings or literature etc..ie:
If history repeats itself, and the unexpected always happens, how incapable must Man be of learning from experience.

A few days ago, also I saw some of the Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 documentary. I kind of wanted to finish the show, but did not. There are lots of criticism of him the
way he tells stories. I would like to complete my viewing of this documentary.

Meanwhile, there were a number of movies at the Toronto and Venice Film Festivals that showcase stories of wars and people that are involved or in the path or indirectly of war. These stories are needed to be told. They are very difficult to tell and far and few between will get noticed unless your names are Michael Moore and Paul Haggis.

There are films that have themes of wars or what wars had done to the morale or to the

lives of the people or countries.

Lust, Caution- Ang Lee- (a WWII story)
Emotional Arithmetic- (based on Holocaust survivors)
These stories of war of cause are varied from year to year and the importance of not forgetting history.

Going back to this day, September 11, the people who passed away, along with plenty of other people from London, Madrid, and others not mentioned, their family and friends want the rest of us to remember them on the day and everyday on and not to repeat the history again.
