Canada will be likely putting an announcement about bisphenol A as a toxic substance this week.
Basic information about Bisphenol A
Bisphenol A was first reported by A.P. Dianin in 1891.
Its chemical is used to make polycarbonate plastic and epoxy resins. Its end products (polycarbonates)are: eyeglass lenes, medical equipment, water bottles, CD, DVD's, cell phones, consumer elctronics(some said your iPod), sports safety equipment, safety shields, and your good olde cars.
What is all the fuss about?
Bisphenol A was flagged early on the 1930s during the search for estrogen mimics. US and the various world scientists did and are studying more about BPA. US will come out with their report about BPA later this year.
