News on Focus: Surf Safely Online

This past week, I have a great deal of goodies to put on this entry.  To begin with, I find out a few things about the importance of community on the Internet.  I have my skepticism towards them mostly for the fact due to the fact that our children and teens are greatly influenced by MySpace, Facebook and more online networks in negative lights.
There are a wealth of information that are good for ordinary people if we are careful and watchful to take heed when we are online.
1. NBC Meet The Press Celebrating 60 Years on TV.  I went online and looked at the archival pictures that are very historical of significance: ie: Martin Luther King JR, JFK, Presidents of US, and various important political figures like Tony Blair.
For more, view the video and the site for more.
2. YouTube promoting Canada- its important to note that Canada is a tourist destination now that no one want to notice now, due to recent bad reputation, so its timely to put forth some good advertisement of an introduction of Canada via YouTube.

3. On some of the lighter notes: celebrities like Brad Pitt and Spice Girls does commercials as part of their lively hood.  These are some of the foreign commercials from Britain and Japan that you will not see in North America of Brad and the one of the Spice Girl.

Be safe, take guards and discuss with parents and people you trust online (for adults).
