It was a busy weekend for the US and an extra day for Pirates may or may not help the box office receipts. Pirates did not get a good review, although same for Spiderman3 and Shrek, these two were better utilized movies. Are we already weary of franchises before the end of summer? We still have Borne Ultimatum, Oceans 13, Harry Potter and more to come. Or it could just be that pirates draws more adult audiences.
