Shrek is #1 at the box office with $122mUS domestically. It did not go break Spidey record. Spiderman3 slipped to $28.5mUS and the rest of the results are pretty dismal. Next week, the most anticipating movie, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End will be in the theatres and expected to break Spiderman3 box office records. Agree or not, we might have to hold our breaths for two more movies: Harry Potter and The Simpsons Movie could challenge the these franchises with their solid vast audiences all over the world ranging from kids to adults that are baby boomers.
