Listen to this article Poverty and environment are related and why? Lots of you know that the environment are pushed aside for development when countries are in extreme poverty. At the same token, countries that are developed with vast amount of rich resources would put aside environment for economical development. As a result, the poor would be left behind and poverty would continue. The better of us would forget that they are everyday people just like us. Do we understand why poverty and environment comes hand in hand? Or do we ignore because we don' know better? In the cities, we have more cars and various pollutants all over the air. The poor as a result are being left behind in various ways like bad health, homelessness, hunger, bad water, and bad housing. In some of the countries, some people would lost their way of earning a living: ie: farming or gazing. People are being dislocated and landscape are being changed as a result. Thats how the environment got change as a result to moments to cities that could lead to dense populating. The people would become poorer and there would be vigorous competition to get the best jobs and that would affect quality of jobs. The best and or the person who are willing to work for long periods for the cheapest will get the job.
In the case of war torn countries, it would be due to the damage that the war caused to the landscapes and due to limited resources, people would fight or loot for the food, water and anything that they can have. Poverty is a world-wide issue that will not be solved overnight. A lot of times, its ignorance about poverty and the issues around it makes these issues less prevalent to the politicians and policy-makers. Because of economical development and the fight for limited resources, the environment are being left aside along with poverty as a politicking subject in political elections or international meetings.
