Canada is a country that are full of dreams and visions. Yet we do not really take the uttermost advantage during election time and vote when we are Canadian citizens. The people who are not are the ones that rely on us to speak behalf of them. Despite of politics and candidates of each of the parties, we need to remember that they are only human beings. We expect that people who represent us to be perfect and does everything that we would like them to do. We cannot expect them of that nowadays because they are only one human being. We need to know our world realistically and know more about how complexities of the society we created. We become very unrealistic about solutions to our daily problems like: poverty, hunger, government efficiencies, environment, health care and more etc. We need to look at other ways to unite with other Canadians in other provinces to work for a better government and not arguing. We need to listen to each other as citizens about issues that are common among us and put upon some suggestions and bring it together as a group and work together, because working by oneself or one group can be very daunting.
Why am I writing all this now? I could have tell you how to vote on any of the following elections coming up, provincial or federal. I am not here to. We as Canadians are here to disagree and agree and put our dreams and ideas together like: education. We may or may not agree about how education shall be implemented, but are there ways to improve? Do we need to open up our ways of viewing and discussing politics and involve the whole population: ranging from basics and to the structures? We shall not forget our reasons why we are Canadians when we head to the voting booth. Demanding better starts with ourselves and reviewing our constitution and our laws and more.
